Rhys is a sweet and sensible young horse who was imported from the Netherlands in 2023. In just over a year he has acquired many accolades in the US, including receiving top remarks at Dressage at Devon in the young horse classes just shortly after arriving in the US. He was champion multiple times over at NEDA Breed Championships, receiving scores in the high 70s and low 80s in the 4 year old classes. To finish off his season, he placed in a very competitive USDF Region 8 Regional Championships class at training level. In addition to his high scores and stunning gaits, his brain is truly the highlight. He is sensitive yet confident, and gives a great feeling to his rider. He is sure to make a sensational upper level partner for the professional or adult amateur alike.

Rhys is by Marc Cain, son of Millennium, a premium stallion with nineteen licensed sons across the world. His dam sire, Desperados, is a premium stallion who has achieved some of the highest scores in Schlieckau with a 9.5 for canter.

Fine Royal was imported from Europe in 2021, and anyone that has had the pleasure of meeting him has fallen in love immediately.

He is a rare combination of beauty, brains, and incredible kindness. 

 

Royal has been shown in young horse classes, training and first level with scores up to 79%. In 2022, he attended Dressage at Devon and was selected as the 4 year old demonstration horse in NEDA's Carl Hester Symposium. Carl complimented Royal's extraordinary demeanor and his spectacular canter during his session. ​Royal is beginning to school third level movements at home, including two clean changes and half steps, which he learned on his first attempt.

 

Whilst being sensitive and forward going for his rider, he is also extremely forgiving of mistakes, making him an ideal adult amateur horse. Royal enjoys his job, and takes no time to learn new things. He is athletic, brave and extremely easy to handle. He will make a sensational addition to any program.

Royal comes from two very successful and amateur friendly breeding lines. Royal's sire, Feinrich, is by Furst Heinrich combined with probably the most important mare in modern Oldenburg breeding history, El.St. Gesina. In 2015, Feinrich was the glowing winner of his licensing and completed his stallion performance test with flying colors. In 2018, he won young horse dressage competitions of his age group, qualified for the German championships, has since achieved top placings in intermediate (M**) dressage competitions with Brandi Roenick/USA and has been trained to high level. His dam sire, Rubin Royal was awarded the I d-premium. He awed the judges with his brilliant type, sensational movement and great jumping qualities. Wherever Rubin Royal makes an appearance he is always welcomed with a spontaneous applause. His first offspring have already won young horse classes which justifies his 12th place in the German wide Breeding Evaluation List for dressage horses.
